Kenny Mac is a composer, orchestrator, and producer in Los Angeles, California. In 2008, Kenny was selected to receive the “Excellence in Fine Arts” for his compositions, awarded by Bank of America. He holds a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Music Composition from the University of California at Davis and extended studies at Diablo Valley College, where he studied under conductor and composer Christian Baldini (BBC Symphony Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, Sacramento Philharmonic). Kenny’s music is described as "thematic and broad, with strong melodies and harmonic movement, combined with sweeping dynamic transitions between massive orchestral cues and soaring tender melodies.”
After earning his Music Composition Degree, Kenny has worked with industry professionals and faculty from many institutions all across the Bay Area, integrating his knowledge of modern technology and production/songwriting techniques with the elegance of traditional classical composition.
Currently, Kenny is working on a game title with PeakWare Studios to be released on Play Station 4, XBox One, and Nintendo Switch. He is also a partner of online academy — Evenant, where he works closely with composers, producers and founders of major cinematic music companies such as Epic Music World, Trailer Music World, End of Silence, Ghostwriter Music and many more.
Kenny is also known for his work with YouTuber Mr. Sunday Movies on recreating iconic Hollywood movie scenes in to 16-Bit renderings. Their work together has garnered millions of views on YouTube, and was featured on the Huffington Post.
